Experiences

You come along in our parkagainst special birds and mammals. Walk through their natural habitat, watch and learn during the feeding talks or visit the unique bird demonstration. There is plenty to experience!

More than 230 animal species live in Avifauna. All sorts beautiful birds live with it small mammals from their habitat.

We invest in the protection of flora and fauna in various ways, both in our park and far beyond our national borders. That social meaning is anchored in everything we do.

Nature conservation

Vogelpark Avifauna continuously invests knowledge and resources in nature conservation projects. Every year we support in various projects, both in our own environment and in vulnerable nature areas elsewhere in the world.

Avifauna renews

To ensure the well-being of our animals and attractive to remain for visitors, we must constantly renew our animal park. We translate the latest scientific insights into our approach and care of the animals.

Vacancies

As an employer, Avifauna plays an important role in the region. Hundreds of young people found their first (holiday) job with us. Specialized professionals know where to find us from all over the country, as do many volunteers and interns Besides.

Sustainability

When you go through our ideal goals, you will recognize our love and care for nature in everything. At a time when the climate crisis is degenerating into an increasingly real threat and where nature still has to give way to economic interests, we are committed to a sustainable approach to the planet. We do this by investing in our idealistic objectives, but also by making our own business operations more sustainable.

CSR statement

As a socially responsible entrepreneur, we try to limit the impact of our business activities on our environment and thus reduce our ecological footprint. For example, we invest in water conservation and purification, waste separation, LED lighting and the electrification of our vehicle fleet.

Our NME activities also contribute to our sustainable character, because in doing so we make a new generation aware of the beauty of nature and the dangers that threaten it. We are a committed partner for government, education and entrepreneurs and adopt an active, positive attitude in society. Improving the world starts with ourselves, but only succeeds in cooperation with others. We sign up for that ambition – for example by signing the CSR statement.

Green Key

Our efforts for sustainable business operations are bearing fruit. In 2025, Avifauna again obtained the Golden Green Key. This is the highest attainable level of the international quality mark in the field of sustainability for companies in the leisure and leisure sector and the business market. The Green Key quality mark recognizes companies that undertake corporate social responsibility (CSR) with care for the environment and nature. So it does not stop with fine words and empty promises, but translates into concrete initiatives and results that are recognized and appreciated!
