Lories feeding
In the Lori Landing you will discover the Australian outback and find yourself surrounded by a colony of more than 100 brightly colored lorises. You can feed them yourself! With a cup of nectar they come right on your hand (€ 1,50 per cup).
Red panda with Crane bird
In the Oriental garden, the red pandas live together with the graceful Manchurian cranes. Sometimes you have to look closely! Because pandas are real sleepyheads, they like to laze in the trees.
Love monkey feeding
On this beautiful island you walk between climbing and clambering monkeys, who make their way through the lush nature on ropes and trees. During the feeding talk you will also see these monkeys from very close!
Pelican feeding

Penguin feeding

Young flamingo
The Cuban brackish water swamp is perhaps one of the most colorful experiences of our bird park. A large colony of flamingos lives here, which immediately attracts attention with its beautiful pink color.
During the bird demonstration, caretakers literally show 'from a bird's eye view' how these animals eat and hunt as they are used to in nature. Up to 100 birds come into action and that leads to spectacular dives and beautiful flight movements.

An explosion of color and sound
In the Tropenhal we guide you through the tropical jungle of the areas around the equator. The exotic birds fly freely around you, or they hide between the large plants or behind the splashing waterfall.
Ring-tailed lemur with audience
In the Madagascar area you walk among the African birds and prosimians. Our caretakers hold a daily feed talk. Make sure you're there, because then you can see them up close!

Umvikeli
This impressive 2000 m² aviary offers a safe haven to endangered Rüppell's vultures. The vultures live here together with white-headed vultures, hooded vultures and Egyptian vultures. Many other special African birds such as hoopoes, secretary birds and tricoloured glossy starlings also inhabit the area.

What's sniffing there!?
The giant anteater is the largest of its kind. Striking is its long snout, which is streamlined in the rest of his body. Anteaters walk on their wrists with their front legs. They do this to protect their sharp claws.
Soft woolly animals
The vicuña is the smallest of the camelids. Instead of hooves, the animal has 2 toes. The animals also have very thick wool and this protects them against the cold.
