The young hatched from the egg at 01.00am last night. The expectation is that the second egg will follow soon. Everyone can watch live via the animals live stream. It is the first young one for this couple that has been staying at Avifauna since last year. The two were taken care of here after a seizure and are participating in the conservation program of European zoos. The old Steller couple have raised more than 20 young in Avifauna and are currently enjoying their well-deserved old age in another park.
