Animal live stream

The pair of Steller's sea eagles, both 22 years old, arrived at Avifauna in 2023. They originated from a seizure by the Belgian authorities, who approached Avifauna with the request to take in these birds.

This year, the female laid two eggs, one of which hatched on April 19th after an incubation period of about 35 days. The chick fledged early in the summer holidays and can now be admired flying in the aviary. The nest is now empty, so the livestream has been disabled.

We hope to be able to follow the breeding of the Steller's sea eagles live again early next year.
